Test Automation Engineer Responsibilities:
- Automated Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to ensure the quality and stability of software releases.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, define test cases, and create comprehensive test plans for different software components.
- Framework Development: Design, build, and enhance automation frameworks that allow for efficient and effective testing across various platforms and devices.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and report software defects and anomalies in a clear and concise manner, using appropriate bug tracking tools.
Test Automation Engineer Requirements:
- Candidate should have a strong background in software quality assurance
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
- The QA Automation Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as cypress, Pytest.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
