Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Manual Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manually testing software applications to identify bugs, ensure quality, and enhance product performance before deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
- Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, UI, and exploratory testing
- Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure consistent project execution
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
- Help troubleshoot issues and provide actionable steps to reproduce
- Report bugs and errors to development teams in a clear, concise manner
- Maintain documentation for QA procedures and test cases
- Provide feedback on usability and performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar
- Solid understanding of test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software
