We at Viamagus are looking for a talented QA Engineer.

You would be the champion of quality. Your goal would be to ensure that issues, gaps, bugs, and loopholes don't get past you, and are caught and fixed before shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Understand requirements from UX designs, FS documents, and KT sessions
- Identify positive and negative scenarios, and prepare detailed test cases
- Create well-structured test plans and execute them promptly
- Perform regression testing
- Identify bugs & document them in a way that helps your teammates zero in on the issue/root cause quickly
- Work independently and collaborate with design, engineering, and stakeholder teams as needed
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance
Requirements:
- Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Must have 1 to 3 years of experience in manual software testing and quality assurance
- Must have strong communication skills in written and verbal English
- Must have strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Must be flexible in terms of availability, especially during release days and client meetings
- Must be able to understand requirements quickly and design positive and negative test cases and scenarios that are logical
- Must have experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with responsiveness and cross-browser testing
- Good understanding of JSON structures, responsive applications, API requests/Postman
- Must have a good understanding of Chrome tools to observe network requests and the performance of applications
- Though manual testing is the core responsibility, one must have some practical knowledge of automation testing and scripting on Playwright
Good To Have:
- Experience in using tools like LambdaTest or BrowserStack for cross-browser/device testing
- Experience in testing Android/iOS mobile apps
- Load testing experience (e.g. Apache JMeter, Gatling, Locust)
- Finance/FinTech application testing experience
