Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled QA Engineer to join our Space-ech team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software, hardware, and integrated systems used in aerospace and satellite-based applications. The role involves testing mission-critical systems, identifying defects, validating requirements, and collaborating closely with development and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation procedures for SpaceTech applications and systems.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing.
• Validate embedded systems, satellite software, avionics systems, or aerospace applications.
• Identify, document, track, and report software/hardware defects.
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and project managers to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and safety regulations.
• Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews.
• Conduct automation testing where applicable.
• Maintain QA documentation, test reports, and audit records.
• Support deployment, field testing, and mission readiness activities.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Software QA methodologies and testing processes.
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, aerospace systems, or satellite technologies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Bugzilla.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Python, C/C++, or scripting languages is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Candidate must have relevant 3- 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in SpaceTech, Edge Computing, Aerospace, UAV, Robotics, or Defence projects preferred.
• Knowledge of standards such as DO-178C, AS9100, CMMI Level 3/4/5 or ISO quality standards is an advantage.
• Exposure to hardware-in-loop (HIL) testing or simulation environments is a plus.
