Quality assurance Engineer
Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform regression testing after bugs have been fixed and new features added.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and technical specifications.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application scalability and reliability.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Proficient in test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
