Job Title - Quality Analyst

Experience Level - 3 to 6

Location - Kochi

Mode - Hybrid

Primary skill set - Testing

Role Description (expectation/attributes from the resource/ in terms of contribution in the specific role )

Analyze, test, and validate ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and SQL queries to validate data transformations.

Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.

Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems.

Validate incremental and full-load data processing.

Validate inbound and outbound file processing (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.).

Perform integrity checks to ensure completeness and correctness of processed files.

Monitor and troubleshoot file ingestion failures.

Ensure successful integration of files into databases.

Technical Competencies

Hands-on experience with ETL testing tools

Strong SQL skills

Experience with file processing (CSV, XML, JSON) and data validation techniques.

Familiarity with scripting languages

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Soft Skill Competencies (Expectation based on role )

Ability to analyze large datasets and identify inconsistencies.

Quick troubleshooting of ETL failures and file processing issues.

Clearly explains data issues, test results, and defects to developers, data engineers, and stakeholders.

Documents test cases, findings, and reports in an understandable manner

Works closely with developers, business analysts, and database administrators to resolve issues.

Coordinates with cross-functional teams in Agile or Waterfall environments.

Any Other competencies (required for specify position/role )

Experience working in agile development environments.

Experience in Jira, QATouch etc.

Experience in Jmeter, Selenium will be an add on

Ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks as per project needs.
