Role Summary:
Candidate with 2-4 years of experience will be part of Product QA team and will be responsible for creating test scenarios/test cases, execute different type of testing, creating & tracking items on JIRA for timely closure of items, collaboratively remove barriers & ensure projects are delivered on time.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Must-Have Expertise:
- Strong experience in manual testing with a sound understanding of testing processes and methodologies
- Solid knowledge of UI testing concepts, and practical exposure to functional, regression, system integration, and non-functional testing
- Proficiency in test case design, test execution, defect management, and tracking
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar defect tracking and project management tools
- Good debugging and analytical skills to investigate issues and perform root cause analysis
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multiple teams and functions
- Basic scripting skills using Python or any other scripting language (Shell Script, JavaScript, etc.) to support testing tasks
- Basic knowledge of writing and executing SQL queries for validations (preferably on PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases)
Good-to-Have Expertise:
- Exposure to UI Automation Tools like Selenium
- Understanding of open-source technologies including, Kafka, HBase, Solr, and Elastic Search
- Experience working in Linux environments for system-level validations and troubleshooting
- Awareness of Agile methodologies
