Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Location: Chennai (Onsite)

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Contract)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Quality Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks while ensuring high-quality software delivery across Agile teams.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of QA experience with strong focus on test automation
• Hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, PyTest, Mocha/Jest depending on stack)
• Solid experience with Postman for functional/API testing and scripting
• Strong command of JMeter for load, performance, and stress testing
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Ability to write and understand SQL for data validation
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
