Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) with 35 years of experience to own test planning, automation execution, and quality assurance across projects. The role requires a hands-on, process-driven professional who collaborates closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirements to define test strategy

Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases

Design and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and reuse

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

Conduct API testing and backend data validation

Identify, log, track, and retest defects across releases

Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders

Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of testing outcomes

Skills Required

Manual Testing

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

Expertise in test case design techniques

Experience in defect life cycle management

Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing

Automation Testing

Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver

Proficiency in Java or Python

Experience with TestNG / JUnit / PyTest frameworks

Knowledge of Maven / Gradle build tools

Hands-on experience with Page Object Model / Hybrid frameworks

API & DevOps Exposure

Experience in API testing using Postman / REST Assured

Working knowledge of Git version control

Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Database & Backend Validation

Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL or equivalent)

Ability to write and validate CRUD SQL queries (INSERT, SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE)

Experience using JOINs and basic subqueries for backend validation

Basic understanding of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)

AI & Productivity Tools

Ability to use AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency

Experience leveraging AI for test case generation, test data creation, script optimization, and defect analysis

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Eligibility

Education: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA or equivalent
