Job Requirements
Details:
Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts such as test data, data validation, and scripts.
- Advise on test strategy best practices, determine test standards, and build out master test plan.
- Execute the plan and manage all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.
- Experience with Test Management tools like ALM, JIRA (Zephyr).
- Hands-on experience on ERP tool testing (3-4 years)
- Good to have: Hands on Automation experience
- Ensure top quality by identifying potential issues and documenting test results before the product goes live.
- Backend database testing SQL and validating using SQL queries.
- Accurately document software defects.
- Perform testing in terms of functionality with multiple systems.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
- Work as a key player within the Scrum team by providing feedback and executing on testing deliverables.
- Adhere to IS Department and project team policies and best practices.
- Communicates and coordinates with Project Manager and scrum team to ensure deliverables are being met.
- Ability to not only verify functional requirements, but understand the data and confirm it's being calculated correctly.
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal team members as well as business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into functional test plans.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
- Ability to deliver results leveraging SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
- Must have a positive can-do attitude.
- Strong problem solving characteristics with the ability to think outside the box.
- Must be able to work with others in a collaborative fashion.
