About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Analyst (QA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to help ensure the quality of new features and integrations for our API and data platforms.
This position is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who are eager to learn quality assurance processes, automation basics, and modern testing practices in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and assist in creating test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
- Execute manual test cases for web applications and APIs to validate functionality and identify defects.
- Learn, develop, and maintain basic automated test scripts under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
- Perform different types of testing such as functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and help validate features using tools like Jira.
- Log, track, and follow up on defects to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Continuously learn new testing tools, techniques, and best practices to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 02 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance (freshers are welcome).
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java) is a plus.
- Basic exposure to or willingness to learn test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Understanding of different testing types such as functional, regression, and smoke testing.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Nice to Have
- Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman.
- Basic understanding of automation frameworks or testing tools.
- Awareness of BDD/TDD concepts.
