QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and functional specifications
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports
• Identify, track, and document software defects
• Work with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes
• Participate in regression, functional, and UI testing
• Maintain testing documentation and reports
• Learn and adapt to automation testing tools and QA processes

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Software Testing and QA concepts
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
• Familiarity with Manual Testing concepts
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Understanding of web applications and APIs is a plus
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Internship or academic project experience in testing is preferred
• Certifications in Software Testing are a plus

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of Selenium, JIRA, or Postman
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Exposure to automation testing concepts
