Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Guidewire QA Analyst/ Engineer with experience in testing Guidewire Insurance Suite applications such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. The candidate should have strong knowledge of manual and automation testing, insurance domain processes, and Guidewire integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing for Guidewire applications.
- Validate Guidewire modules such as:
- PolicyCenter
- ClaimCenter
- BillingCenter
- Prepare:
- Test plans
- Test cases
- Test scenarios
- Test data
- Defect reports
- Execute API testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners.
- Identify defects, track them in defect management tools, and ensure closure.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Support automation framework development and execution using Selenium/Java or similar tools.
- Validate integrations with external systems and third-party applications.
- Ensure quality standards and testing best practices are followed.

Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite testing
- Knowledge of:
- Guidewire PolicyCenter
- ClaimCenter
- BillingCenter
- Manual testing expertise
- Automation testing using:
- API testing experience
- SQL knowledge for backend validation
- Experience with defect tracking tools:
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Domain Skills
- Good understanding of P&C (Property & Casualty) Insurance domain
- Knowledge of policy lifecycle and claims processing
Preferred Skills
- Guidewire certification
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud
- Exposure to Agile methodology
- Performance testing knowledge is an added advantage
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
