About the Role
Bachatt is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Analyst (Manual + Automation) to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our digital products. This role requires hands-on experience in both manual testing and automation testing, with the ability to work closely with product, engineering, and design teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing
- Design, create, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on product requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects through closure.
- Validate UI/UX, workflows, and end-to-end user journeys.
- Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and compatibility testing.
Automation Testing
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts for web/mobile applications.
- Build and improve automation frameworks for scalable test coverage.
- Automate regression and repetitive test scenarios to improve release efficiency.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze automation results and troubleshoot failures.
API & Backend Testing
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
- Validate API responses, request payloads, status codes, and business logic.
- Test integrations between internal and third-party systems.
Defect Management & Reporting
- Log defects with clear reproduction steps and severity prioritization.
- Collaborate with developers for issue resolution and retesting.
- Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of QA experience
- Strong experience in manual testing
- Hands-on experience in automation testing
- Experience with automation tools such as:
- Selenium
- Cypress
- Playwright
- Appium (good to have)
- API testing experience (Postman / REST APIs)
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Understanding of SDLC / STLC / Agile methodologies
- Basic understanding of SQL / database validation
- Mobile app testing experience
- Experience with CI/CD workflows is a plus
