Job Description: Quality Analyst - Billing Center (Cloud)
Role Summary
We are looking for a
Quality Analyst - Billing Center (Cloud) to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and quality of billing operations within a cloud-based billing environment. The role focuses on auditing billing transactions, validating processes, monitoring adherence to policies, and driving continuous improvement in billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality audits on billing transactions, invoices, and adjustments within the Billing Center (Cloud) system.
- Review end-to-end billing workflows to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with defined SLAs, policies, and regulatory standards.
- Identify billing errors, discrepancies, and process gaps; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with Billing Operations, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Create and maintain quality metrics, dashboards, and reports to track billing accuracy and performance trends.
- Support root cause analysis and drive continuous process improvements to enhance billing quality.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards.
- Participate in UAT/testing activities for billing-related changes, enhancements, and cloud deployments.
- Provide regular feedback, quality insights, and training recommendations to billing teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in a Quality Analyst or Audit role, preferably in Billing, Finance Operations, or SaaS environments.
- Hands-on experience with Billing Center platforms, preferably cloud-based billing systems (e.g., Guidewire BillingCenter Cloud, Zuora, SAP BRIM, Oracle Billing, or similar).
- Strong understanding of billing cycles, invoicing, payments, adjustments, and revenue recognition concepts.
- Experience working with QA frameworks, quality scorecards, and audit methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in insurance, fintech, telecom, or SaaS billing domains.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and billing integrations.
- Familiarity with compliance standards, internal audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Prior exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
