QA Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering technical excellence and high engagement.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for platform features and releasescovering functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Define and implement QA processes, standards, and automation frameworks with a focus on continuous delivery and DevOps integration.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, DevOps, and business teams to plan releases, align on requirements, and drive quality objectives.
• Review test cases, results, code, and drive root cause analysis for defects and outages.
• Oversee deployment readiness and release certification of platform software.
• Ensure the team leverages best-in-class automation tools for functional, API, and load testing.
• Introduce metrics and dashboards to track quality, code coverage, and defect leakage, enabling data-driven improvements.
• Coordinate UAT and ensure quality sign-off with stakeholders.
• Keep up-to-date with trends in QA, test automation, and tools in large-scale platforms.

• Requirements

• 1015 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 35 years in managerial/leadership roles.
• Proven record of building and scaling QA teams for large, distributed platform or SaaS products.
• In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, test processes, and software development lifecycle.
• Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Postman, etc.), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to design and implement automation at all test levels (unit, API, UI, performance, security).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum-based environments and cross-functional leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Deep experience with Java/Spring Boot, Microservices, ReactJS stack is a strong plus.
• Experience in a high-growth startup/platform environment is highly desirable.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred.
