QA Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies across functional, regression, performance, security, API, mobile, and end-to-end testing domains.
• Lead a team of 5–10 QA engineers, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development.
• Drive test automation adoption using tools like Selenium, UFT, Playwright, RestAssured, JMeter, and Postman, with a focus on scriptless automation, reusable frameworks, and CI/CD integration.
• Establish and maintain test environment provisioning, test data management, and test execution orchestration processes.
• Collaborate with Product, Dev, and DevOps teams to implement shift-left testing, test-first approaches, and quality gates in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Own release readiness assessments, including regression suite execution, sanity testing, and post-deployment validation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and other relevant standards through rigorous testing and audit readiness.
• Deliver actionable insights and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Jira, and ALM to provide real-time visibility into quality metrics and release health.
• Champion continuous improvement in QA processes, tooling, and team capabilities.
• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to technical decisions related to testability and observability.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience with functional, regression, API, performance, security, and mobile testing.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks using Selenium, UFT, Playwright, RestAssured, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in CI/CD integration (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) with automated test execution.
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs, Postman, Swagger, and API testing tools.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, ALM, TestRail, or Xray.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and QA estimation.
• Experience in test data management, test environment provisioning, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for testing.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with enterprise clients in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, insurance) is a strong plus.
