QA Engineer

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with 3-8 years of hands-on experience in test automation and API testing to join our growing QA team. This role is critical in helping us scale our testing efforts, improve product quality, and reduce time-to-market for our rapidly evolving suite of products.

You'll work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure timely and effective test coverage across UI, API, and end-to-end scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web UI and APIs using industry-standard frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test plans.
• Identify, document, and track bugs; work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously improve test processes, coverage, and execution efficiency.
• Contribute to building and maintaining a stable and scalable automation framework.
• Analyse test results, provide feedback, and support continuous integration and delivery efforts.
• Participate in regression testing and support release activities across multiple product lines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation and manual testing.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python, Java, etc.).
• Solid experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
