About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring product quality and production stability. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining release quality, identifying risks, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own production stability and ensure high-quality releases
- Investigate, analyze, and assist in debugging production issues in collaboration with developers
- Perform thorough testing including edge-case, negative, and risk-based scenarios
- Write, maintain, and update detailed test cases for regression and high-risk areas
- Validate features and bug fixes in staging environments
- Provide staging sign-off prior to production releases
- Identify, prioritize, and track quality risks across sprints
- Work closely with developers throughout the development lifecycle, not just during testing phases
- Support hotfix validation and urgent production releases
- Ensure testing coverage aligns with both business requirements and technical risks
Requirements
Mandatory Skills
- 3+ years of experience in QA/testing roles
- Strong hands-on experience in manual and exploratory testing
- Proven ability to investigate and debug production issues with developers
- Strong test case writing, documentation, and reporting skills
- Solid understanding of web and mobile application testing
- Familiarity with APIs, logs, and databases for validation
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to manage priorities, risks, and release timelines effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
