Description
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices. You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify issues and improve the overall quality of our applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for various software applications.
- Identify, record, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform regression testing and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team for continuous improvement.
- Maintain documentation related to testing processes and results.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-12 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
