Scope:
- Core responsibility is to build the QA and Test automation for our services
What you'll do:
- Verify data, investigate product integrity and software functionality
- Plan, schedule, and develop automated test suite execution and test result analysis
- Ensure developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management
limits and standards
- Analyse test results to infer overall state of quality and inform stakeholders
- Work activities are self-directed, however works closely with development teams and technical
leads to set and meet team goals
- Work closely with other QA Automation Engineers to meet combined goals.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science with 3 or more years of relevant hands-on work experience
- Experience with Agile development process (Scrum, XM or Kanban)
- Experience with Java based frameworks like JUnit/TestNG
- Experience with debugging cloud native applications
- Experience with API automation such as Rest Assured
- Experience with non-functional testing such as performance testing of a web application
- Understanding of modern web-based architectures, key components, and aspects related to performance including web server, app server, service containers, relational databases
- Experience with UI automation framework based on WebdriverIO/ Selenium
- Experience in integration testing of multiple microservices
- Familiarity with messaging architectures and systems like Kafka
- Experience with open cloud platforms such as Azure
- Knowledge of security authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth and SSO
- Familiarity with build tools such as Gradle, npm and Maven
- Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery - CI/CD using Jenkins and Github Actions
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git and Stash/Bitbucket Server
