QA Engineer

We are actively seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our client's team through Acme Services. This pivotal role requires a strong understanding of Test Case Design and practical experience with various testing types, including Functional, Regression, and Sanity Testing. The ideal candidate will also possess a good grasp of test scenarios, test plans, and test reports, along with basic knowledge of Automation Testing using Python for Selenium and experience with Postman for API Testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Case Design & Execution: Apply strong knowledge of Test Case Design principles to create effective and comprehensive test cases. Execute various types of testing, including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Sanity Testing, to ensure software quality.
• Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain clear test scenarios, test plans, and test reports, ensuring thorough documentation of testing activities and results.
• Automation Testing (Basic): Contribute to Automation Testing efforts, utilizing Python programming knowledge for Selenium to automate test cases.
• API Testing: Perform API Testing using tools like Postman to validate backend functionalities and integrations.
• Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with development and product teams to ensure software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
