Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilledQA Automation Engineerto design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation tools, testing frameworks, and a solid understanding of QA methodologies in an Agile environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as required.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews as part of an Agile/Scrum team.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability using test management tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality delivery.
- Perform database validation and API testing using tools likePostman.
- Troubleshoot test failures and provide detailed defect analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiencyin test automation tools such asSelenium,Appium, etc.
- Experiencewith any one testing framework:TestNG,BDD (Cucumber), orTDD (JUnit).
- Strong scripting skillsin one or more languages:Java,Python, orJavaScript.
- Knowledgeof version control systems likeGit.
- Familiaritywith CI/CD tools such asJenkins,Bamboo, etc.
- Understandingof testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Hands-onexperience indatabase testingandAPI testing.
- Experiencewith Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Working knowledgeof test management tools such asJIRA,TestRail, etc.
- Exposureto performance testing tools likeJMeterorLoadRunner.
- Familiaritywith cloud-based and cross-browser testing platforms.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) testing.
- Knowledge of security or mobile automation testing.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
