QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium and a good understanding of cloud-based testing platforms such as LambdaTest. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in designing automated test frameworks, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Execute automated and manual test cases to ensure software quality across web and mobile applications.
• Implement and maintain automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Maven, etc.)
• Integrate test scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Use LambdaTest for cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements.
• Participate in regression testing, smoke testing, and performance testing when required.
• Provide detailed reports on test results, coverage, and defects.
• Continuously optimize automation suites for speed, stability, and scalability.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with LambdaTest or other cloud-based testing platforms.
• Good knowledge of Java / Python / JavaScript (any one preferred for automation).
• Experience with TestNG / JUnit frameworks.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
• Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clear documentation and test reports.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
• Knowledge of mobile automation tools (Appium).
• Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter).
• Basic understanding of Docker and container-based testing.
