About The Role
We are looking for a
Senior QA Test Automation Engineer to join our
IoT platform team. The ideal candidate will drive
end-to-end automation strategies and design scalable automation frameworks for
web and API testing. This role involves close collaboration with development and DevOps teams to improve testing efficiency and accelerate product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Develop automation strategies and testing processes to reduce manual testing effort and improve release cycles.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts for RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML-based services.
- Define test plans, test cases, and test coverage in an Agile environment.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps teams, and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
- Drive quality engineering best practices and enhance test automation coverage.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to QA team members.
- Implement and maintain containerized and cloud-based testing environments using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Required Skills- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:
- Selenium
- Cucumber
- Playwright / Protractor
- Postman / SoapUI
- Experience with API Testing (REST APIs).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Good understanding of SQL databases and debugging techniques.
