QA Engineer

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software application testing.
• Execute manual and automated testing to ensure software quality meets specifications and requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality and performance.
• Ensure compliance with QA methodologies and practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in peer reviews of test cases and test plans.
• Generate and maintain test documentation.

How You Will Do It

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to enhance product quality.
• Utilize automation tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct regression testing as necessary to ensure that changes do not negatively affect existing functionality.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights for product improvements.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of product functionality and assist in training others in QA processes.

What We Look For

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance or related field.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e. g. , Selenium, JUnit).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
