Role & responsibilities
As a part of CSF team, you will get an opportunity to work on building components for Nokia's PaaS. This involves in working with open source software like Kafka, KeyCloak, Vault, MariaDB, RedisDB, Cassandra etc to deliver on PaaS and at the same time work with open source communities.
- Analyses, designs, develops and tests products / services / improvements / bug resolutions for integrated hardware / software systems as per customers requirements.
- Resolves customer trouble tickets. Diagnoses complex problems / issues and provides resolution or recommend corrective actions.
- Plans technical requirements from customers needs.
- Develops SW build-controlled productions releases (EG main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer design engineering).
- Defines product hardware / software evolutions through the creation and release of hardware / software documentation, hardware / software change control management, supplier and customer notifications.
- Retains technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies and provides training to the lower support teams (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
- Applies and maintains quality standards. Participates in process and tools evolutions and improvements.
- Applies the SW Care process (especially emergency case handling) contributing when needed to the fastest problem restoration.
Manage the security vulnerabilities in the software deliverables - identify, elimate or mitigate.
Preferred candidate profile
- 2-8 years of experience in software design, development and testing
- Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting environments like Python, Golang,
- DevOps exposure Development experience in a Jenkins-based environment with familiarity with test frameworks (e.g., Radish, Cucumber, etc.)
- Expertise in container management environments such as K8S, service mesh, IAM, FPM, etc.
- Experience with containers (Docker OR Podman), and helm charts.
- Experience in configuring security vulnerability scans - including Container Vulnerability Scanning (Anchor), Port Scanning (Tenable), or Malware Scanning (Symantec Endpoint Protection)
- Experience researching resolutions to security vulnerabilities and hands-on experience with mitigation
- System integration experience for a PaaS offering, along with strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Experience in functional & system tests, software validation/reviews, and technical support during platform deployment & product integrations.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be a team player, comfortable working with global teams and in remote settings.
