Senior Analyst - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for various applications and systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and develop testing strategies.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and improve test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of software designs.
• Document testing processes, results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide training and support to junior team members on testing methodologies and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools and automation trends to enhance the testing strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in automation testing or software testing.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for writing automated tests.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
