About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement of electrical products, ensuring timely sourcing, cost efficiency, and compliance with technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management, negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of electrical materials.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for electrical items such as cables, switchgears, and panels.
- Issue RFQs, prepare price comparison sheets, and negotiate best pricing, delivery schedules, and credit terms.
- Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements.
- Maintain and update vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.
- Coordinate with project and logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records including quotations, POs, payments, and approvals.
- Ensure purchases are within budget and in compliance with company procurement guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 1-3 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and professional email communication.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
