Role Purpose Strengthen procurement capabilities across key locations, ensuring robust supply chain compliance aligned with global quality standards, policies, and procedures. Deliver seamless service to stakeholders by implementing and maintaining global service level agreements. Leverage digital tools to analyze, monitor, and report on supply chain performance. Track procurement behaviors and proactively implement training and improvement measures in line with continuous improvement goals. Support budget commitments through adoption of global strategic procurement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business, technical, and fleet procurement teams to achieve strategic objectives while acting as a positive ambassador internally and externally.
- Drive supply chain compliance across functions, fleet cells, and vessels using performance indicators to improve outcomes and mitigate risks.
- Foster a customer service culture through stakeholder engagement, reporting, feedback, and resolution mechanisms.
- Ensure procurement remains cost-effective by adopting digital solutions and process efficiencies.
- Supervise fleet procurement operations and establish effective escalation routes for urgent or complex requirements.
- Monitor systems to prioritize high-profile, fast-track, and urgent requisitions, ensuring invoices are authorized and processed in line with expectations.
- Act as a super user for procurement systems, demonstrating capabilities to clients, suppliers, or third parties when required.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and analysis of fleet purchases, ensuring consistency with policies and client reporting requirements.
- Coordinate coverage to ensure timely handling of purchasing matters during staff absences.
- Provide or obtain necessary authorization for fast-track and over-budget items.
- Implement and maintain use of approved suppliers, while developing methods to measure and report on supplier performance.
- Conduct internal audits and proactively address improvement areas.
- Commit to travel for customer visits, industry events, and workshops as needed.
- Manage and drive compliance with KPIs and SLAs.
- Publish daily, weekly, and monthly reports, and conduct performance review meetings with stakeholders as per agreed timelines.
- Lead and motivate team members, driving knowledge, efficiency, and retention.
- Work within shift patterns as required based on location and team allocation.
