Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee our procurement processes and manage supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen eye for cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure optimal procurement processes.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and monitor their performance.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and expenditures.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
