Job Description

  • Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms and conditions
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved requirements
  • Maintain vendor master data and supplier documentation
  • Coordinate with stores, production, and planning teams to understand material requirements
  • Track delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, delivery challans, and contracts
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and audit requirements
  • Assist in vendor audits and performance evaluations
  • Analyze purchase costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare purchase reports, MIS, and dashboards as required by management

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and operations
  • Ability to analyze quotations and commercial terms
  • Proficiency in any ERP systems and MS Excel
  • Good coordination and follow-up skills
  • Purchase experience 1-3
