Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Vendor Management
• Identify, onboard, and manage vendors for:
o Store fit-outs (civil, electrical, HVAC, fixtures)
o Furniture, lighting, signage, and branding elements
• Build and maintain a pan-India vendor network aligned with expansion plans
• Conduct vendor negotiations to achieve best pricing, quality, and timelines
• Develop a vendor performance scorecard system (quality, delivery, cost adherence)
2. BOQ & Cost Optimization
• Analyze BOQs (Bill of Quantities) provided by design and project teams
• Benchmark costs across cities and vendors to identify optimization opportunities
• Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising design intent or quality
• Maintain a central cost database for all store components (city-wise insights)
3. Purchase Planning & Execution
• Create and manage purchase plans aligned with store timelines (60-day cycle)
• Ensure timely release of:
o RFQs o Work Orders (WO)
o Material procurement schedules
• Track procurement status and proactively resolve delays in:
o Vendor mobilization
o Material dispatch
o Site delivery
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with:
o Project Managers & Site Engineers
o Architects & Designers
o Finance & Accounts
• Ensure all procurement aligns with:
o Approved designs (GFC drawings)
o Brand standards
o Budget constraints
5. Data, Reporting & Systems
• Maintain real-time procurement trackers:
o Order status
o Delivery timelines
o Cost vs budget variance
• Build dashboards (Excel / Google Sheets / Power BI) for:
o Store-wise procurement tracking
o Vendor performance
o Cost trends
• Support WhatsApp/DPR-based reporting systems for quick updates from site teams
6. Risk & Quality Control
• Identify procurement risks early (delays, cost escalations, vendor dependency)
• Ensure material quality meets Frido standards through:
o Sample approvals
o Vendor audits
• Flag potential project delays due to procurement gaps
