For an integrated communications consulting agency working with a mix of B2B and B2C clients ranging from fast-growing tech start-ups to MNCs. Our route and tool agnostic approach helps our clients to seamlessly integrate all their communications across PR, Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing and Marcom. We are looking for a passionate and driven Account Manager to be a part of our growing team in
Bangalore. The role is for someone with strong PR experience and exploring a role in integrated
communications. The person should be a learner and a doer, willing to work on a multitude of
communication platforms, with an emphasis on PR. The capability to implement client campaigns, manage
day-to-day client interface and willingness to work in a dynamic environment would be sought in the
candidate.
Roles & responsibilities:
● Client relationship management: Consults with clients on all aspects of their communication requirements to build a long-term relationship
○ As their account lead sets processes and protocols, ensures delivery of the
communication mandate and is the primary level of escalation
○ Understands client business and articulate impact of communications, build
communication strategy, create implementation plans
● Media relations: Demonstrates keen understanding of traditional and new-age media and
the changing media landscape
○ Develop strong relationships with key journalists, especially at the editor level, and
other influencers relevant to the clients
● Team management: Mentor, coach team members towards overall development
○ Support and direct teams in the development as well as coordination of day-to-day work •
Responsible for the team's timely and quality outcome of work
● Business Development: Ideate, develop plans and contribute to new business development
○ Drive new and existing client relationships to aid new business efforts and organically
grow accounts
● Business acumen: As part of the leadership team, contribute to furthering organisational
objectives and goals • Take ownership of organisational duties and work towards building an
integrated, employee-focused, ethical agency
Experience level: Minimum of 5-6 years of PR experience
Qualification:
● Graduate or Postgraduate in any communications field
● Experience in PR is essential; exposure to digital and social media marketing would bean added advantage • Strong media relations, especially at the editorial level
● Demonstrated skills in client servicing and managing tricky and complex situations
● Strong presentation and communication skills to deliver complex or creative ideas
● Excellent listening, negotiation, and people/team management skills
● Ability to handle multiple clients/projects with attention to detail
● Experience in B2B, Tech and Corporate PR will be an advantage
