Eligibility Criteria:
Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline (preferably in Mech/ Production / Electrical) or Diploma
Experience: Minimum 4 to 5 years experience in Supply Chain or in Production Planning and Control etc.
Manufacturing / Factory exposure is added advantage
Exposure to Semiconductor Industry is a PLUS
Mandatory Skills:
Effective communication skills both written and verbal to communicate to diverse functional groups and stakeholders on the project/material status.
Good presentation skills.
Proficient & skilled in Microsoft Excel to effectively communicate to program cross functional teams.
Ability to work positively in a team environment with wide range of individuals involved in manufacturing under pressure and efficiently manage priorities to meet tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of views.
Good knowledge and handling of material management and business processes.
Sound knowledge and understanding of Mfg. Operations in Product Life Cycle and Engineering Change Management.
Expertise in data gathering, analysis, and creative in reporting using Charts and analytical reporting with Microsoft Excel.
Desirable Skills:
Working knowledge of SAP MM and PP ERP Module Experience.
Knowledge of PPC (Production Planning and Control) methods.
Exposure with developing Excel Macros
Knowledge to read / understand Engineering Drawings and other engineering Basics.
Knowledge of cross functional communications.
• Knowledge of PDM and BOMs (Multi-level BOM).
Primary Responsibilities: Project Status Manager
PSM works with Buyers, System Project Managers (PMs), Materials Project Managers (MPMs), Pre-Stock Quality Inspection (PSQI), Planning, Engineering, Program Management and Production to ensure material requirements are communicated correctly based on changing priorities to help scale efficiencies in supply line.
• Daily management of Roll up Report for Production meetings and Business United (BU) Material Requirement meetings.
• Shortage Snapshot on System tools and Non- System Orders (NSOs)
• Identify and escalate Critical shortages, provide history and reasons, and provide current up to date status to System PMs, BU stakeholders and Ops PMs via email and NSO meetings.
• Involve and assist SCLA, AUS, and SGP Buyers regarding prioritization of Purchase Orders (POs) and cross Org Inventory availability. Escalations handled by NPI PM
• Assist Pre- Stock Quality Inspection (PSQI) team with prioritizing parts to be inspected based upon System and Non- System schedules.
• Return to Stock (RTS) Engineer owned expense inventory. Fill out Return to Stock (RTS) form for Engineering BU approval and signature.
• Instruct Logistics on material movement and Discreet Job (DJ) allocation of material with Planner approval.
• Create Customer Service Request (CSR) / ZRWRK for engineering lab after making sure we don't compromise system and Non- System Orders (NSO) demand.
• Highlight/Identify BU allocation when there are allocation parts between Austin & SCLA. Escalations handled by NPI PM
• Requests expedite Material receipt.
• Create CSRs to prioritize PO receipt.
• Review SCLA Buyers Hot List comments
• Approve expedite fees within $500 limit.
• Chair Material Task Force for Key Projects with CBM's, MPM, Buyers/Buyer Managements
Primary Responsibilities: ENG Planner (Production Planning and Control)
• Employee may specialize in planning activities involving production control, inventory control, process control, or shop floor control / Material Resources Planning (MRP) integrity.
• Create SAP material reservation and maintains the work order release schedule that provides material on-time to manufacturing and engineering. Reschedules and/or completes no-charge, all discrete jobs as required.
• Increases component availability at time of release by performing pre-shortage analysis. Performs work order variance analysis.
• Reviews MRP execution and ensures accuracy of information; reconciles supply and demand; validates master scheduling requirements. Performs regular system maintenance and audits to ensure system accuracy. Prepares status reports of all production orders.
• Participates in audits and resolves WIP issues. Attends production meetings and provides status on material shortage commit dates.
• Changes make level lead times in accordance with reality on the manufacturing floor.
• Works with engineers to manage materials for special engineering projects. May work with work centers on shop floor control activities.
• Inventory Control – Analyzes usage data and stock levels to order parts to satisfy service levels; maintains inventory levels per plan and expedites shortages; may forecast spare parts needs. Examines material variances, resolves problems where possible, and/or communicates more difficult problems to management. Excess inventory mitigations due to BOM changes.
