About the Role

We are looking for a Project Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects across departments. The role involves working closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects from initiation to closure.
  • Coordinate between stakeholders, team members, and vendors to ensure effective communication.
  • Track project progress, deliverables, and milestones using project management tools.
  • Prepare project documentation including reports, meeting minutes, and performance summaries.
  • Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating them as needed.
  • Support budget tracking, resource allocation, and procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and timelines.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and project success rates.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to project managers and leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Jira, or Smartsheet).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports or dashboards.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM is an advantage.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional or global project environment.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, risk management, and change management.
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder management abilities.
