Qualification

Diploma / BE / BTech in Civil Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Experience

2–5 years of experience in project purchasing / procurement (construction projects preferred)

Key Knowledge Requirements

Extensive knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, tiles, sanitary ware, plumbing materials, etc.)
Strong expertise in construction electrical materials (cables, panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting, earthing materials, etc.)
Familiarity with BOQs, specifications, and technical drawings
Knowledge of vendor sourcing, rate analysis, and material comparison

Roles & Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end procurement for construction and electrical materials for projects
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
Ensure timely purchase and delivery of materials as per project schedules
Prepare and process purchase orders in compliance with company policies
Coordinate with project, site, civil, and electrical teams for material requirements
Monitor material quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications
Maintain purchase records, MIS reports, and cost control documentation
Track market trends, pricing, and availability of materials

Skills Required
