Job Summary:
The Project Manager Interior Design will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing interior design projects from concept to completion. The role requires strong design understanding, on-site execution knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders including clients, designers, and vendors to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Key Responsibility:
- Manage end-to-end execution of interior design projects (residential/commercial).
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams for seamless project delivery.
- Prepare project schedules, cost estimates, and material requirements.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for timely material delivery and work execution.
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements, share progress updates, and handle change requests.
- Ensure adherence to design specifications, budget, and project timelines.
- Resolve on-site issues and coordinate with internal teams for smooth operations.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and documentation.
- Supervise site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in project management within the interior design or fit-out industry.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and site execution processes.
- Excellent communication, client-handling, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and other project management tools.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites simultaneously.
