Job Summary
The Civil Site Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to design specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with project plans, drawings, and specifications
- Monitor project schedule and ensure timely completion
- Control site costs and optimize resource utilization
- Implement and enforce health & safety regulations
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
- Resolve technical and operational issues on-site
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
- Manage site workforce, including laborers and supervisors
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 10-15+ years of construction site experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOQs
- Good leadership and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of project management software is a plus
