Responsibilities
- Lead projects related to transition of work including scoping and sizing work process optimization, standardization, creation of process documentation, knowledge transfer and manage day to day activities.
- Projects will involve setting up new service lines and locations and also transferring services from one location to another or from one service provider to another, ensuring service levels are maintained throughout.
- Provide project management leadership in India for establishing new functional Business Services Functional Towers in India / APAC
- Collaborate with the country leaders on launching automation projects in the APAC region.
- Develop project scope and objectives involving all the stake holders.
- Lead service build, SIT, UAT, Dry run, change management etc. ..
- Work with leadership to ensure resource availability.
- Develop a detailed project plan for each project / country
- Conduct weekly project management meetings to monitor and track progress of the projects on a weekly basis and call out risks.
- Manage changes to the project scope and schedule
- Report and escalate project risks to the management and stake holders on time
- Coordinate with the work stream leaders in the region and the US on project related matters)
- Provide weekly metrics to management regarding project status, Risks, efforts, defects etc
- Understand and be compliant with the corporate data protection and confidentiality policies
- Develops, trains, and leads a team focused on providing the organization with an exceptional experience concerning Shared Services programs and initiatives.
- Ensure the delivery of a high quality, professional and proactive customer focused service on daily basis.

Qualifications
- Proven working experience in project management.
- Should be experienced in transitioning HR, Finance , Payroll , Procurement and other functional work to hubs and setting up service centers.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced and deadline-driven atmosphere.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of evolving GBS landscape and demonstrated capability of leading organizational change driving innovation.
- Ability to build strong relationships and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, as well as an effective team player
- Experience / good understanding of process design & improvement, project Management and in change management.
- Role requires the person to work during US hours at times if required.
- Preferable experience in transitions management within F&A/ PAYROLL/ HR/ SCM/ work in a GCC/ GBS environment
Experience
Bachelor's degree with minimum 15 years of work experience
Prior experience in cross country process migration / work transition is required.
Strong working knowledge of MS office and Visio.
Education Required:
Bachelors or Master's Degree in any stream from a recognized university.
