Role OverviewDigitron India is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Data Centre Project Sales Manager to drive project-based sales across India. The role involves identifying business opportunities, managing client relationships, and leading the complete sales lifecycle within the data centre segment.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the data centre domain
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and projects
- Focus on enterprise, colocation, and infrastructure-led opportunities
Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, PMC firms, and EPC contractors
- Understand client requirements and align solutions accordingly
- Ensure high levels of client engagement and satisfaction
Project Sales Management
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure
- Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals
- Conduct negotiations and finalize commercial terms
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with internal engineering and design teams for solution development
- Ensure alignment of proposed solutions with project specifications
- Support technical discussions with clients where required
Project Handover and Execution Support
- Ensure smooth transition of confirmed orders to execution teams
- Provide complete project details and support during initial execution stages
- Assist in resolving client concerns during project implementation
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and upcoming data centre projects
- Provide insights to support strategic decision-making
Performance Management
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and conversion ratio
Key Requirements- 5 to 7 years of experience in data centre or infrastructure project sales
- Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power systems and cooling solutions
- Proven experience in B2B and project-based sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage responsibilities on a Pan India basis
Educational Qualification- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Information Technology)
- MBA in Sales or Marketing will be an added advantage
Additional Requirements- Willingness to travel extensively across India
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
