Job Summary

The Project Manager Tractor Integration is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing tractor integration projects across multiple engineering domains. This role ensures seamless integration of powertrain, hydraulics, transmission, electrical/electronic systems, and vehicle architecture to meet performance, cost, quality, and regulatory targets within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end tractor integration projects from concept to drawing release.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engine, transmission, hydraulics, electrical, chassis, manufacturing, and suppliers.
  • Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Manage system-level integration of engine, transmission, driveline, hydraulics, cooling, and E/E systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (emissions, safety, homologation).
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and change management activities.
  • Track cost, schedule, and resource utilization; ensure adherence to budget.
  • Facilitate design reviews, integration reviews, and gate approvals.
  • Support prototype builds, vehicle testing, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across programs.

Work Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Agricultural Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 812 years of experience in tractor, off-highway, or automotive vehicle development.
  • Proven experience in project management and vehicle/system integration.
  • Strong understanding of tractor systems: powertrain, hydraulics, transmission, chassis, and E/E architecture.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and supplier teams.
