The opportunity:
Lead the execution of medium size to large and moderately complex Substation projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets as well as schedule commitments.
How you'll make an impact:
Leads Project team, establishes the project execution approach and overseas project handover, execution planning and monitoring and control of both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
Review of Contract receipt from Sales. Developing project schedule and freeze with respective stakeholders (internal and external).
Preparation of project specific risk and opportunities management plan. Preparation of project wise Master document list. Coordination for Engineering drawing approvals.
Coordination with Engg and SCM to place order on sub supplier for material procurement. Coordinate with suppliers for production plan and FAT and follow up on production progress.
Coordination on stage inspections, follow-up on material shipment, material receipt at site and acknowledgment from sites for submission of Milestone billings.
Coordinate with stakeholders for Installation, testing and commissioning at site. Closely coordinate and document change requests related to project scope and get approvals for time extension, additional cost etc.
Project handing over, as-built drawings, commercial closure etc and collection of PAC, close out of snags & FAC. Payment follow up with customers. Main contact for customers in project, leading customer meetings.
Adhere to the project management processes in the organization. Ensuring implementation and compliance of OHS group guidelines.
Ensure Hitachi Energy integrity guidelines are followed in the team. IS security policy followed in the team and acts as role model for the team.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or management engineering with minimum experience of 10 years in role as PM.
Must have experience in project execution of products related to Design, supply installation of Substation, MV/LV equipment, panels.
Should possess strong leadership skills and ability to convince stakeholders in the interest of the project.
Ability to work under pressure to deliver the projects with time, cost and quality.
Managing expectation of Customers across diverse geographies & cultures
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
