Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager - MEP to lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex multidisciplinary projects from conception to completion.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and STP/WTP systems.
  • Prepare and/or review Design Basis Reports (DBRs), validate technical designs/drawings, and ensure compliance with IS codes and NBC.
  • Integrate MEP works seamlessly with civil and structural activities to ensure clash-free execution.
  • Review and approve multidisciplinary shop drawings, Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), piping/HVAC layouts, and riser schematics.
  • Supervise MEP-related civil works including chases, supports, sleeves, and trenches.
  • Finalize, manage, and monitor MEP vendors/contractors, track productivity, and resolve site conflicts.
  • Implement robust QA/QC systems and enforce statutory safety and technical compliance.
  • Inspect sites regularly, maintain quality/safety audit logs, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Prepare and track project schedules, MIS/DPR reports, and proactively address execution bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate with civil, design, Quantity Surveying (QS), procurement, and finance teams for the timely delivery of long-lead MEP items.
  • Proficient in Electrical (LT/HT distribution, DBs, panels, earthing, cable trays, lighting, low-voltage), Plumbing (water supply, internal/external networks, UG/overhead tanks), HVAC (ducting, VRV/VRF, ventilation, fresh air systems), and Utilities (STP, WTP, firefighting, stormwater drainage).
  • Strong exposure to RCC and structural works, finish and building envelope coordination, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) interpretation, Good for Construction (GFC) management, and quantity take-offs.

Skills Required

  • Expertise in MEP systems (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting).
  • Knowledge of IS codes & NBC.
  • Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and shop drawings.
  • Strong project management skills, including scheduling and reporting.
  • Vendor and contractor management.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in QA/QC procedures and safety compliance.
