Job Description Project Manager (Interiors)
Location: Mumbai
Experience Required: 6+ Years
Reporting To: Sr. Project Manager / Director
Position Overview:
The Project Manager - Interiors will oversee Corporate and Commercial Interior Fit-Out Projects, ensuring efficient project planning, execution, coordination, and delivery. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project completion within timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Framework:
Implement efficient project management frameworks for commercial/corporate interior fit-out projects.
Define and execute criteria for controlling and managing projects within the region.
Develop project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
Project Execution & Delivery:
Manage design teams, site teams, and consultants to meet delegated responsibilities.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations and design guidelines.
Oversee project deliverables, monitor risks, and control variations/changes with appropriate approvals.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management:
Foster collaboration and communication among clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Lead vendor and partner coordination throughout all project stages.
Act as the escalation point between the client/representative and the company.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Prepare and present progress reports, dashboards, and formal documentation for clients and internal leadership.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and compliance requirements.
Education & Experience:
Degree in Architecture or Interior Design (Mandatory)
Post-Graduation in Project Management or Construction Management (Preferred)
6+ years of experience in the building construction industry
Proven track record in managing interior fit-out projects such as commercial spaces, corporate offices, and workplace projects
Comprehensive knowledge of fit-out trades, materials, subcontractors, and execution methodologies
Experience working within a regional project management team is an advantage
