Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
- Deliver assigned projects/work packages on time with quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all technical deliverables meet defined project requirements and engineering standards.
- Support complete project lifecycle from design through commissioning.
- Work with Team Lead to ensure customer acceptance and successful project closure.
System Design & Engineering
- Design, define, and implement complex system requirements for industrial automation customers.
- Prepare system specifications, input/output processes, and hardware/software compatibility parameters.
- Coordinate subsystem design and ensure proper system integration.
- Develop control circuits based on process and application requirements.
Electrical & Hardware Design
- Design electrical systems including DOL, Star/Delta, VFDs, Soft Starters, Servo, PLC, and MCC systems.
- Perform engineering calculations such as heat load, cable sizing, and load analysis.
- Develop panel design and mechanical layouts for different enclosure types (GA/Layout design).
- Ensure compliance with electrical design standards such as IEC codes.
Tools & Technical Expertise
- Use design tools such as ePLAN and AutoCAD for engineering design (preferred).
- Work with Rockwell Automation platforms (ControlLogix, PLC-5, CompactLogix) and Siemens/Schneider systems.
- Ensure integration of automation hardware and control systems across projects.
Problem Solving & Optimization
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and system deficiencies.
- Develop corrective actions and process improvements.
- Drive cost reduction through reusable engineering practices and standardization.
Collaboration & Leadership Support
- Support Team Lead/Lead Engineer on technical issues and project execution challenges.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Contribute to team capability development and knowledge sharing.
