Project Engineer

Position Title: Head – Project Engineer Location: Sobo Centre, South Bopal, Ahmedabad.

About our client:

Our client is a growing infrastructure solutions company specialising in material supply, installation, and consulting services for aviation, railways, industrial, warehouse, and large-scale infrastructure projects across India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute project activities at site in line with approved timelines and specifications

• Coordinate daily site operations and monitor progress against schedule

• Act as the primary on-site point of contact for client representatives, addressing queries and ensuring smooth communication

• Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and other periodic project documentation • Supervise and coordinate labour teams to ensure productivity, safety, and quality of work

• Manage material and inventory requirements at site, including tracking stock, usage, and wastage

• Raise timely purchase requisitions for materials and consumables based on site progress

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards on site

• Liaise with the project management/head office team on progress updates, issues, and escalations

Skills & Attributes:

• Working knowledge of site execution, material management, and labour coordination

• Ability to read and work with drawings, BOQs, and project schedules

• Strong communication skills for client and vendor coordination

• Willingness to be based at project sites, including remote or challenging locations, and to work in demanding outdoor/field conditions

• Basic proficiency in MS Office/Excel for reporting; familiarity with project tracking tools is a plus

Experience:

• Minimum 1- 2 years of experience handling project sites, preferably with infrastructure companies (railways, roads, bridges, or similar) - candidates from real estate/residential construction backgrounds will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
