Job Description

Position Title:– Project Engineer (Railways, Roads, Bridges...ETC)

Location: Sobo Centre, South Bopal, Ahmedabad.

Industry: Construction

Experience Level: 1-2 Years

Working days: 6 Days

About our client:

Our client is a growing infrastructure solutions company specialising in material supply, installation, and consulting services for aviation, railways, industrial, warehouse, and large-scale infrastructure projects across India. Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and execute project activities at site in line with approved timelines and specifications

· Coordinate daily site operations and monitor progress against schedule

· Act as the primary on-site point of contact for client representatives, addressing queries and ensuring smooth communication

· Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and other periodic project documentation

· Supervise and coordinate labour teams to ensure productivity, safety, and quality of work

· Manage material and inventory requirements at site, including tracking stock, usage, and wastage

· Raise timely purchase requisitions for materials and consumables based on site progress

· Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards on site

· Liaise with the project management/head office team on progress updates, issues, and escalations

Skills & Attributes:

· Working knowledge of site execution, material management, and labour coordination

· Ability to read and work with drawings, BOQs, and project schedules

· Strong communication skills for client and vendor coordination

· Willingness to be based at project sites, including remote or challenging locations, and to work in demanding outdoor/field conditions

· Basic proficiency in MS Office/Excel for reporting; familiarity with project tracking tools is a plus

Experience:

Minimum 1- 2 years of experience handling project sites, preferably with infrastructure companies (railways, roads, bridges, or similar)
candidates from real estate/residential construction backgrounds will not be considered.

Qualifications:

· BE / B. Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
