Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and service‑driven Project Controls & Data Specialist to support cost and resource management excellence across projects. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for Planisware operational support, ensure high data quality across multiple platforms, and drive automation and AI‑based improvements to enhance user experience.

You will work closely with project managers, cost and resource managers, and finance stakeholders to ensure first‑time‑right processes, reliable data, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Planisware Operations & User Support

  • Own and maintain the Planisware mailbox, acting as the first point of contact for user questions, issues, and requests.
  • Ensure high user satisfaction through clear, timely, and professional communication.
  • Proactively identify recurring user issues and drive structural improvements to reduce repeat questions.
  • Executing quarterly Internal Financial Audit related to approvals of project hours

Purchase Request (PR) Management & Coaching

  • Create and support Purchase Requests (PRs) for projects in alignment with internal processes.
  • Coach and guide PR submitters to ensure first‑time‑right submissions, improving quality and reducing rework.
  • Act as a knowledge partner of SME for project teams on PR‑related topics.

Data Quality Ownership

  • Ensure data quality across multiple tools and platforms, including Planisware and related financial and resource systems.
  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve data quality checkers and controls.
  • Act as the data quality owner, ensuring consistency, completeness, and accuracy of project, cost, and resource data.

Continuous Improvement & Automation

  • Identify repeating data discrepancies and structural patterns impacting data quality.
  • Design and implement mechanisms, controls, and automations to prevent recurring issues.
  • Develop AI bots and automations to enhance user experience and efficiency for cost and resource managers.
  • Actively contribute to digitalization and process optimization initiatives within the PSO/PMO landscape.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with Planisware (mandatory).
  • Strong experience in data quality management, data validation, and process control.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong customer‑service mindset.
  • Ability to coach and guide users in a clear, pragmatic, and constructive way.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and root‑cause thinking.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience with Databricks and Azure Data Lake (ADL)
  • Experience with automation, scripting, or AI‑driven solutions
  • Exposure to project finance, cost management, or resource management environments
  • Experience working in a complex, multi‑tool enterprise landscape

Minimum required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Econometrics, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.

Minimum required Experience:
Minimum 4 years of experience in areas such as Data Analytics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or equivalent.


How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
