About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Program Manager to manage new product development programs, lead APQP activities, and ensure smooth coordination between customers and internal cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, customer communication experience, and understanding of automotive product development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities for new product development projects.
- Prepare and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with customers for technical discussions, project updates, and requirement clarifications.
- Act as a single point of contact between customer and internal departments such as Design, Quality, Production, Purchase, and Supply Chain.
- Organize internal project review meetings and ensure timely closure of action items.
- Manage and coordinate for documentation related to APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, etc. with all functions
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product launch activities.
- Monitor risks, delays, and escalate issues proactively.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per customer expectations.
- Maintain MIS reports and project status dashboards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering.
- 4–5 years of experience in Program Management /NPD in automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, Product Development Lifecycle.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in customer handling and cross-functional team management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
